2-7 Triple Draw Poker is a newer Poker game that has become increasingly popular in the online Poker circuit, especially at PokerStars in 2010. Although the game is played very similarly to other Draw Poker games as well as other low ball Poker games, however there are a few major differences. One thing is that Aces are not good, regular good Poker hands are bad and count against you, like, straights, flushes, pairs etc. Another big difference is that when playing 2-7 Triple Draw, you do not get the added benefit of seeing some of the other player’s cards, so you need to pay more attention to the players and the moves they are making. The best possible hand in 2-7 triple draw lowball is 23457. Getting this hand is roughly twice as hard as getting dealt a pair of aces in Hold’em. The average winning hand in 27 triple draw is 8 or 9 high based on my experience. You should only play hands with 3-4 cards under 8 is most situations.
