Poker4ever Is Our New US Poker Room In 2011
December 19, 2010
You won’t be seeing a Poker4ever poker room commercial during the WSOP or even seeing someone wearing a Poker4Ever hat/tee-shirt at the table any time soon. You won’t even want to bother signing up unless you fall under one of the following categories:
- You are looking for a 2011 US poker room
- You play micro-small stakes Hold’em
- You enjoy freerolls that offer real money prizes and have small playing fields.
- You enjoy promotions like rake races that you can win without depositing or playing much.
If you do fall in one of thos categories than Poker4ever may interest you. As I wrote in this recent Poker4ever review this room is not for serious poker players. What do I mean by serious? I mean someone who plays 40 hours a week and makes a living from it.
Poker4ever is for recreational players that enjoy small stakes players who like to be rewarded for playing 4-5 hours a MONTH. They reward you via freerolls and rake races. Unlike the freerolls at other rooms you won’t be competing against 50,000 other players. The freerolls here range from 100-200. Even the $1,000 new depositor freeroll has less than 200 players.
If depositing just isn’t an option for you you can still take advantage of the $50 freerolls held twice a day. The rake races are about 500 times easier to win than other rooms’ rake races. The jackpots add up to $2,500 monthly so it’s definitely worth your time to try out.
If you do decide to deposit and you are not from the USA you can use Skrill, aka Moneybookers. Since Poker4ever is a Skrill poker room you can make instant deposits and superfast cashouts.
Our Poker4ever bonus code is P4E2011. as you can tell it is an up-to-date bonus code ( the 2011). It offers a 100% match up to $150 bonus. This is one of my best 2011 poker bonus codes.
This bonus is considerably easier to clear than other poker room bonuses. It has a 12X clearance req. Every $10 in bonus money requires you to earn 120 PokerPoints. That takes about an hour at the small stakes tables. Use the following link to visit Poker4ever.com and this bonus code will already be tagged to your account:
Seven Card Stud Games 101
December 6, 2010
A website for the poker player who knows there is more to the great American game than Texas Holdem. The online poker rooms are constantly running tournaments and ring games for stud players as well as for holdem players. If you are interested in playing Stud Poker online, you can easily find that while nearly every poker room “offers” games of 7 Card Stud, not every one has enough players playing to make visiting their site and downloading their software worthwhile.
We not only know where the most active stud tables are online, but since we’ve been playing cards online for years, we can give you insightful reviews of these rooms as well.
Stud poker, for those who are not familiar with the game, does not involve any “shared board cards”. Instead, each player is dealt their own hand. In the five card version of the game, you use all of your cards to create the best poker hand possible. In the seven card version of the game, you make the best hand possible using five of your cards.
A typical round of Seven Card Stud begins with players posting an ante, and then receiving three cards. The first two are faced down (”hole cards”) and the third is face up. A round of betting takes place with the person holding the lowest card face up initiating the betting.
Seven Card Stud has a high and low bet limit. The first two betting rounds are at the low limit, the additional betting rounds are at the high limit. So, in a game of $2-$4 7Stud, the first two betting rounds are fixed at $2 per bet, the additional rounds are fixed at $4 per bet.
Next, a fourth card is dealt to everyone face up. Another round of betting, beginning with the player holding the highest hand (using exposed cards). Players hold a pair may bet double, or the high limit for the game, on this round.
A fith is dealt face up, followed by a betting round at the high limit. A sixth card is dealt face up followed by a betting round at the high limit.
The final card, the seventh, is dealt faced down. The final round of betting takes place, and the showdown takes place.
At the online card rooms, not only can you play traditional 7 Card Stud, but you can play a Stud Hi-Lo version of the game as well. Several rooms, including Pacific Poker and Party Poker offer 7 Stud 8 or Better tables.
Besides the regular cash games, there are 7 Stud tournaments online. You can find several multi-table tournaments taking place throughout the day at Party Poker. They also offer faster “Sit and Go” tournaments with buy-ins startng at $11 for both 7Stud and 7Stud Hi-Lo.
In a Sit and Go style tournament the tournament begins when all of the seats at the table are claimed by players. These tournaments are very convenient because they begin whenever you’re interested in playing. At online rooms, your poker playing fits your schedule, instead of having to schedule your time around the next poker playing opportunity.
We hope you can find some Stud Poker action online, and have the best of luck at the tables. - Seven Card Stud Players.com
Poker Websites
November 30, 2010
Are you looking for a place that can give you information on a wide range of poker sites? TopTenPokerSites.org is an excellent guide for players who are looking for a new place to play poker online. They offer no BS reviews on the most popular poker sites and even some new ones. They also boats a wide selection of poker guides that will teach you how to play poker online as well as some strategy guides that will help you dominate the poker tables.
They have cut out all of the generic promotional language from their poker site reviews so you will only have to read about the aspects that are important to you. These topics include banking, support, software, bonuses and promotions.
Since this site only works with a limited number of rooms they are able to offer better than normal bonuses.
Their list of the top 10 online poker sites is not a collection of skins from the same network. They have scoured the web and chosen the best room from each network as well as the best independent poker rooms like Bodog and Pokerstars.
This will save you a lot of time and hassle since many networks only allow one account. Many online poker review sites only care about getting you to signup, even if you can’t play there because of the one account policy. The poker rooms do this to stop bonus abusers. This is what makes TopTenPokerSites.org so great. They won’t lie or exaggerate about a room in hopes of getting you to signup.
They give you the cold hard facts on each room and let you decide. If you like one of the poker sites they have listed then that’s great but they won’t BS you into signing up at a sub-par room you won’t like.
They only work with the best rooms and if one of their rooms is having trouble paying players in a timely fashion or doing anything shady they will quickly blacklist them.
The first place I would look after visiting their site is the “New Poker Site” section. You can usually receive a great bonus and tickets to special freerolls at new poker sites. They may be small but they have a lot to offer.
A good example is their AWH Poker promotion. When you signup through TopTenPokerSites.org you can receive $5 free to try out the room. If you end up liking this new poker site you can go on to receive a 200% bonus up to $1,000 when you make your first deposit. I haven’t seen this free money promotion offered anywhere else so I think it’s safe to assume that you can only get it by following the directions on their review page.

Skrill Poker Rooms - Casinos - Sportsbooks
November 23, 2010
Skrill is a deposit option accepted at many sportsbooks, poker rooms and casinos. Skrill used to be known as Moneybookers. They ditched that name in favor of Skrill. This blog post will be about the three most popular uses for Skrill: casinos, poker sites and sportsbooks. You will learn what Skrill is and how it works. there are those that think Moneybookers changed their name to Skrill because they are expecting online gambling to become regulated in the USA. That would be very good news indeed. I miss the days when I could use an online e-wallet like Skrill to fund my poker, casino and sports betting accounts.
Skrill Poker Sites
There are many Skrill poker sites out there today. The most notable I think is Pokerstars. I also like UB Poker because they offer a bunch of cool casino games. If you are from the UK or EU I would suggest 888 Poker. This 3D poker room is the latest version of Pacific Poker. Skill poker rooms come a dime a dozen so I’ve only listed the very best of them here.
Skrill Online Casinos
There are literaly hundreds of Skrill casinos online today. The online casino industry has worked out special deals with Skrill users. Sometimes you can get a special bonus just by using Skrill to make a deposit into your online casino account.
Skrill Sportsbooks Online
I have to admit that I currently don’t know many Skrill sportsbooks. The only one I do know just happens to be one of the best online. TheSportsbook.com is my favorite place to bet on all of the major sports like football and baseball. They have a casino on their site that doesn’t even require a download. If that’s not enough you can also play at their poker room.
Fulltilt Poker Adds 10-Game
November 6, 2010
Checking out the latest Full Tilt news I noticed that there is a new 10-game Poker being offered, and I just had to check it out. What I know so far is that 10 Game Poker is definitely not for the novice player. The 10 games are fast paced, and they automatically switch to a new game every 10 hands, so if you are a slow player I would recommend that you watch a few games before you jump in the action. Some of the games are Badugi, Triple Draw, and Pot Limit Omaha Hi. Mix those in with 7 more games that are rotating every 10 hands and you have some serious game playing! I found a little trouble getting used to the switch, especially with Badugi and Triple Draw, but like with everything it takes time to get used to the games.
As always Full Tilt is providing top notch software that has no bugs, and is easy to use. The Pro’s are there to learn from by watching them play, or you can test your skills by going head to head at the tables. There is also a $100k freeroll ticket and a 100% match up bonus up to $600 that is offered as well once you follow the directions and use the referral code provided. So if you have a desire to play a fast paced challenging game then 10 Game Poker is for you. Visit this site to learn how to play 10 game poker. See you at the tables!

50 Billion Hands At Poker Stars
September 11, 2010
I recall the 40 billion hand celebration at Pokerstars and it was fun. I didnt actually win any money but I still had a blast. It’s the thrill of knowing a huge win is right around the corner. Pokerstars’ 50 billionth hand celebration is sure to be even better. They are paying out on 300 milestone hands this year and there are a few extra perks that weren’t around last year. The first is a cool deposit bonus code that gives you access to $50,000 freerolls. The second is the super sitngos, which are 50 man sitngo’s which have a total of $250,000 in extra money to give out to players.
The Pokerstars 50 billionth hand celebration works like this. If you are playing at a table and hit a milestone hand you will win $50 per VPP you have collected in the previous 50 hands. Hitting a milestone hand basically means that your hand number is on an even million between 47,000,000,000 and 50,000,000,000. You can win a lot of money just by being in the hand and if you win you’ll double your winnings. It really is the most exciting promotion out there. I have written a detailed blog post about it, just click the link a few sentences above.

The Best Texas Hold’em Strategy Guide
July 21, 2010
Texas Hold’em isn’t my game of choice but I’ll play it every now and then. I almost always play in the fixed limit format, no limit Hold’em is just too crazy for me. I also prefer tables with 3-6 players as I hate how tedious a full ring table can be. There are many solid resources for Texas Hold’em strategy on the web but www.ThePokerBank.com is one of my favorites. This site features hundreds of Texas Hold’em related articles. The strategy articles are not the typical textbook re-writes most poker portals offer. They are divided up into different skill levels so you’ll be able to acquire strategic knowledge in the proper order. Most poker strategy sites I’ve been to do not distinguish between beginner, intermediate and advanced articles, The Poker Bank does.
They also offer a wide range of excellent poker rakeback deals. Rake is the money the poker rooms take out of each pot. It’s not much but it certainly adds up quickly. The Poker Bank’s rakeback offers allows you to get 27-35% of this rake back, hence the word “rakeback”.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this amazing resource with you guys.

Outlaw in the Heavenly Hall - Gambling Experience
July 2, 2010
E.K. Garrigan
I opened the website with a flourish. It was my lucky day, I felt, and I wasn’t going to waste it.
The screen lay out before me. The table in the center – nearly filled with other players. This was only my third or fourth time playing, but I had been enjoying it so far. I’d open up a tiny little window and be transported into a high stakes game. Sure, I mostly played for pride or a couple dollars at best. I thought that this day would be different, though. Maybe I could get enough to take friends out to dinner.
The first round was passed out. I was playing Texas Hold ‘Em poker, something based more on luck than just regular poker. Blinds went up, and the table was off. Two cards flashed on my screen. They were nothing fancy, nothing that had a good chance of bringing me the pot - two of Spades and a lonely Jack of Diamonds. The flop wasn’t much better. Sure, the Ace of Spades showed up to match with my two, but that wouldn’t win. A turn and a river later, and I was down a few chips. A little slow to start, maybe, but I still had that feeling.
The next few rounds failed to back up my lucky feeling. I felt more like Mr. Mudd than Mr. Gold at this point. But even at the end of the song, Mr. Mudd gets his. I just had to play one more round.
Now, it’s always bothered me that I can’t see faces in online poker. There’s no tell – no subtle twitch of the face to let me know when a man or woman is bluffing. I’m betting and tossing around cards in front of a faceless computer screen. I guess that’s good in some ways, at least no one will see my tells.
I promised myself that this would be my last round. The table had been full at ten and we’d only lost a player in the past hour or so. People had a yen for a big win, but so far the winnings had been spread evenly.
My two cards flash on screen. That Jack of Diamonds again and Ace of Diamonds. I swore under my breath. An inside straight would have to support my lucky feeling. Nothing to do but play. Bets flew and the cards flopped. My heart almost stopped when I saw the King of Diamonds joined by a couple clubs. I was so close, but I didn’t like my odds. No good player would. But I strove on.
The Queen of Diamonds was the most beautiful turn I had ever seen. After her card fell I stopped breathing. All the dealer had to do was show a ten and my day was won.
I thought my computer had frozen; it took so long for that card. The first thing I saw was the 10 in simple script. My heart beat raced as my eyes searched for a color or shape. The red diamond winked at me from the screen. I had beaten the odds and everyone on the table.
Well, it was a nerve wracking round, but I pulled in enough to take a couple buddies out for the night. Every once and a while, I get that urge to play a little poker online again, that lucky feeling. Worth following, sometimes, if you ask me.
